:: The One with Gerald & Hin Loong ::
Both Gerald Darlene Ho Yew Fung and Isaac Hamsap Leong Hin Loong were in town for the GFS Anniversary Dinner Concert for the weekend. After the long yet great night in Banting (the most happening small town in Msia!), they both of them needed something to calm their stomachs before heading back home to Ipoh.

Since they didn’t want the infamous chilli pan mee in Restaurant Kin Kin off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, we headed to SS2 hoping to find great food. Coincidently, we tried it at Restaurant Sun Hin Loong. That got Hin Loong all hyped up!

Here it is home to a rather famous steamed duck noodle stall.

The duck noodles here comes in either mee sua (min sin in canto) and yee mee. The beauty of this dish lies not in the duck meat, as it was too cooked for my liking, but it lies in the fragrant herbal (yok choy) soup that reminds me of those that your mom cooks.
After the meal, we headed to the shop located directly behind Restaurant Sun Hin Loong for this.

Homi chicken curry puff offers one of the largest curry puffs you’ll ever find in Klang Valley at only RM 1.20 per piece. The amount of butter he uses for the pastry will evidently blow you off but be warned that one piece too many will upset your appetite for further meals.
Oh, by the way, Gerald, I can’t help but compare the balding man with you. Now I know how you will look years from now!
