:: The One with Xmas Decorations ::

It’s a norm now that customers are treated to great Christmas decorations in shopping malls around Malaysia besides having ample choice of products on offer during the year end mega sales. Usually these decorations are set up in the mall’s centre court and I heard that they have a inter-decoration competition each year amongst the malls.

This particular year, 1-Utama went with a rather interesting design; the drummer boy! The nice thing about it is the drummer boy can actually move about! Unfortunately the sad point is, one tends to get bored after seeing it more than once.

Midvalley once again emerged as this year’s winner with a very autumn looking Christmas decoration. Apparently, Midvalley wins it every year. Well, if you have seen the other decors in the other malls in KL then you would understand. KLCC’s was a gigantic Xmas tree, Pavillion’s less gigantic white Xmas tree was horrendous (if i recall the tree was terbalik) whilst Sunway Pyramid Phase II was pure cheap. Sorry no pictures. They were just an eye sore.

If you havent seen the Midvalley decor’s you should really take a look at it.

Sorry if the images didn’t really turn out the way I wanted it to be. We were in a rush for “I Am Legend” and I need a DSLR.

My favourite is Mid Valley’s…. hehehe Every Year, without a doubt, I will definitely bring my camera to snap lots of shots in this megamall…

YOu know how much they spend each year in decorating the mall for Christmas?? It’s a BOMB u know?

  • Kevin Quah Says:

gerald : eh? u didnt like the midvalley decors? or you prefered the 1-U?

grace : hahaha, yea they do spend a lot on the decorations but, u do know how much MV is getting every single day?

  • Jonazan Says:

Gerald looks very messy, what happened to him? Loong err…. like kena puff up in order to face the new job.

  • Jesca Says:

eh, i prefer 1u!!….coz mv’s too many christmas trees….they win hands down on quantities though..hahaha..

  • Kevin Quah Says:

jon : hahahaha, gerald always spots the messy out of bed look! but he just cut his hair so he looks a tad better now.

loong on the other hand is praying so hard that JB is hit by another round of floods so he takyah pergi!

jess : :) i actually was very astounded by 1-U’s decor but after a few visits, the drummer boy just wasnt moving around and that killed the interest.

i think the both of them went for a colourful theme but the MV’s being a little on the autumn-y style caught the attentions of the majority kut.

  • Jesca Says:

    ermm….maybe lar…but i still prefer 1u’s…haha…espc the piano concept thingy….

btw, u forgot bout curve and BSC…hahaha..

p/s: i went BSC, kinda not bad…just that it was more small-scaled in my opinion…

  • s2k_247 Says:

Lol.. The MV one is definitely the best one… Kinda out for the theme of Christmas, but at the same, it looks very Christmas-sy..
