:: The One with Pendang ::

This CNY saw me venturing up north for a project in Pendang district, central of Kedah.

I half expected the lucious greens of the paddy field to turn golden, signifying the harvesting season.  Timing was less than perfect and instead, they were already slashing and burning the paddy fields.

My timely visit was greeted with the drought season.

The canals were filled with waters released from the dams upstream, allowing me to get a fraction of reflections of the water surface.  Imaging trying with teh ais like waters during the wet season.

After awhile I got abit the addicted capturing reflections.

Only to find those trying to reflect their own thoughts.

Heading further into the villages along streams, we stumbled upon the rural kids taking a dip in one of the rivers.  Took some indecent pictures of naked young ones diving into the cool waters!

Not all could join in the fun though.  After awhile she started crying.

Looking back, it just hits me how vast is the difference between city and village folk.
