:: The One with Yellowcab Pizza ::
Pizza Hut/Domino’s/Shakey’s are all household names when it comes to pizza. What about Yellowcab Pizza?

Not many are familiar with Yellowcab – “When You Want Great Pizza. Call A Cab”

This Phillipines franchise offers thin crust pizza’s in 10″, 14″ and 18″. Yeap. Huge pizza slices like those eaten by Joey in Friends.

Their 10″ is comparable to Pizza Hut’s large. The thing is, Yellowcab tak kedekut with their toppings.

Their 18″ on the other hand is really massive. Try imagine 2.5 times the length of Pizza Hut’s large pizza slice. With more toppings.

Yellowcab Taipan branch can be found along the Lorong 100 Tahun shoplot nearby McD’s.
They can also be found near the Dang Wangi LRT station.

oh interesting. how’s the price and taste?
February 16th, 2009 at 11:45 pm
grace : better than pizza hut!
renaye : 10″ = 20+, 14″=40+, 18″=50-60+; tastes much better than pizza hut. thin crust with generous toppings. bring a few friends and share out the bill. may cost less than pizza hut per head if shared.

Hm… I remember there’s a pizza place a few shops away from ex-BK (also ex-Kenny Roger’s), it’s at the same row. It’s proper Italian n it’s awesome!! I think it’s called pizza uno or sumthin, haven’t been to Taipan for ancients.
This yellowcab place is filipino? Urgh….. I HAET PHILIPPINES!!

gerald : i’m having a craving for it again.
tokmoh : the place is still there i think. but seriously you should try yellowcab, its great! laaa…i hate penang/spore in general too but penang food is nice. cant say the same for spore though.
lizz : yeap. it definitely does. by miles.
sha : huhu, you should give them a go sha. none of the pizza places comes close to this.
February 19th, 2009 at 10:27 am
hmm… the price is like other pizza outlets’. will try. another pizza outlet that i like is U.S. pizza. surprising KL doesn’t have. only penang has.

Kev: S’pore oni one thing is nice: MRT. That’s it. lol
vincent: O yeah.
Emm… kinda depend. Some pizza are better off thin n some thick. Now I normally eat Domino’s NY Crust Meat Mania pizza if I ever eat pizza. The other day, I went to eat smoked salmon pizza at Itallianies. Emm…… authentically Italian
sha: I miss Pizza Hut during the days when they still have BBQ chicken flavor…… That is still the best pizza ever for me.

renaye : U.S. Pizza huh? not familiar with that, the only other one i heard is Canadian pizza which is horrible.
lizz : you only live once. live to eat!
vincent : lol. no offence to penangites. dont get me wrong bro. perhaps i’m more multiracial. i cant stand really really “cina” ppl.
tokmoh : MRT there sama je. more efficient je. never see daylight there. muahahaha.
February 22nd, 2009 at 4:38 am
tokmoh : Either Domino’s or US Pizza, the crust is really thin. The pizza slice will layu when u take it up. Tak best la.. Itallianies? Heard of it before.. Gotta try it when I visit KL but I guess it’s pretty expensive rite?
Kev : ahh ic.. Well yep we do have some of those here. But then I think in towns like Kampar it’s even worse. I once got called stupid (in a jokingly manner) by my taxi driver for not being able to speak cantonese. lol.
February 22nd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
vincent : hmm, its worth every penny this pizza. but the 18″ also layus cuz of the shear size of the slice.
anyway, i get those “cina” looks when i’m up north/down south and i dont know how to speak hokkien except for a few famous lines.
