:: The One with being Ah-Beng-ified ::

By now, most of you readers should know that I love to generalized people; fortunately, unfortunately.
Everyone says that the iPhone is the Jesus of phones and personally, used to yearn to get my hands on a unit.

Well, until our dear chinese Malaysians had to go meng-ahbeng-ify and meng-ahlian-ify-kan the once elegant and polish saviour.

Die, iPhone, die.  And burn in hell.

  • Gerald Ho Says:

    hahahaha……..poos the iphone…and yeah…it’s really ahbeng-ified…:)

  • kevin Says:

grace : talipon lain how? buang?

rich : keke, you an iphone fan boy?

vincent : think bout it, there are tonnes of 350z around lately.

gerald : everyone seems to use it everywhere. and with maxis advertising like mad on it, its really getting annoying.

  • KitKat Says:

This guy has too much money to burn I think.

  • tokmoh Says:

To think that my sis is getting her iphone 3GS around nxt week…… Her ipod nano pun tak pernah pakai, lol.

A fren of mine pula pakai mini iphone… china brand costing him rm400++ IIANM. The catch? The batt can last around 4 hours with normal use. If standby only, about a day at most… Oh wait, I remember another thing. He bought it in June, but just last week, it died, ahahaha. Back to using Nokia for him kekekeke

  • kevin Says:

kitkat : its cheap over there. $99 with contract. murah je.

tokmoh : nah, i saje kutuk je. its a great plaything the iphone. but i just dont see myself using it thats all.

eh the china iphone i thought can get for around rm200 only? i have some friends using it, seems ok je.

  • tokmoh Says:

Where ur frens buy them? My fren bought at carrefour subang. Fuyoo RM200 kah… but I’m not a phone freak, so I’ll stick with my w380i for awhile… until it betul2 kaput cannot repair edi lol.

My criteria for phone simple je… flip type n good battery life. Rather than getting an iphone or Nokia n-series or stuffs, IMHO, it’s just better to get a cheaper phone (utk sms, call, snap picture 1.3MP pun jadilah, decent music player perhaps, that’s it) n get a netbook.

  • lizze Says:

I am here here here, haiz….just buy the china made Iphone la…hehehe…they look identical lo…haha…

  • Kevin Says:

tokmoh : entah them , they have a huge network of various resources to get things like these. kinda hard to get a flip phone lately no?

liz : look identical outside, inside lain.

  • Gerald Ho Says:

When maxis signed the agreement with Mac…..they have a target to meet…they have an agreed advertising budget to boost iphone sales….it’s all in Maxis’ agreement..they have to do it..they have to hit their targets…or possibly….they might lose the sole distributor’s right in Malaysia….poor them…

  • Kevin Says:

gerald : ah, now i understand. didnt think of it that way. was wondering why on earth is the promotion everywhere!

  • Tokmoh Says:

I’m currently typing this using d iPhone 3gs, I hv to admit, surfing net wit this thing feels better than all other touchscreen devices I’ve used. Bt at d end of d day, I feel like given my own choice, I’d go for what i said: a basic phone n netbook

flip phone r hard to find indeed… I just like it cuz can Gaya when want to flip open/close it hehe. On d practical side, when closed, all buttons r protected, so when I carry it ard in pocket, no more accidentally call someone or things like that :)

  • kevin Says:

tokmoh : surfing the net on the iPhone 3Gs is nice i must admit that. anyway, on the subject of phones, the best looking flip phones that i’ve seen are still motos.

but function wise it still needs some getting used to.

  • Tokmoh Says:

Oh yeah, the razr v3 especially is very good looking, esp in dark maroon. I see there’s one model with Ferrari logo, that one looks very nice too. The user interface sadly, isn’t as friendly as sony-e’s or nokia’s. Or it could be bcuz I nvr used one long enuf to get used to :p
